Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using the SOCCO platform. They govern your access to and use of our B2B marketplace services.
Last updated: May 12, 2026
Overview: These terms establish the rules for using the SOCCO B2B marketplace. By creating an account, you agree to these terms, which cover account responsibilities, verification requirements, platform conduct, and liability limitations.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SOCCO ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including buyers, sellers, and visitors.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to bind the business entity you represent. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of your company.
3. Account Registration
To access Platform features, you must create an account and complete the business verification process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Business Verification
SOCCO requires trade license verification for all registered businesses. You agree to provide valid, current documentation during onboarding. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that fail verification or provide fraudulent documentation. Verification status may be reviewed periodically.
5. Platform Usage
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful B2B commerce purposes. You may not use the Platform to post misleading information, engage in fraudulent transactions, harass other users, distribute malware, or violate any applicable UAE laws or regulations.
You retain ownership of all content you submit. By posting content, you grant SOCCO a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and use that content in connection with operating the Platform.
6. Requests for Quotation (RFQs)
When you submit an RFQ, you agree that the information provided is accurate and represents a genuine business need. Suppliers who respond to RFQs are providing non-binding quotations unless otherwise agreed between the parties. SOCCO does not guarantee any transaction will result from an RFQ.
7. Transactions Between Users
SOCCO facilitates connections between buyers and sellers but is not a party to any transaction. All agreements, payments, deliveries, and disputes are between the respective parties. SOCCO is not liable for the quality, legality, or delivery of goods or services exchanged between users.
8. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, including the SOCCO name, logo, design, and software, is the property of SOCCO Technologies and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform without prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, SOCCO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you to SOCCO in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SOCCO, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Platform or other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
12. Modifications
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or Platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
